The Design Director (Branding) is an ideas-driven, meticulous and brilliant creative, who is excited to lead, collaborate and create high-quality branding and collateral designs. The ideal candidate should have a proven history with creating timeless brand and authentic identities, with good taste, a discerning eye and understanding of brand strategy. We expect the Design Director to be a clear communicator and presenter, organized, obsessed with details, able to manage their time across multiple projects and deadlines, and effectively guide clients through the end-to-end design process.
— Act as the design lead across a number of creative projects, and collaborate with designers to execute visuals across a variety of brand touchpoints.
— Partner with account management, strategy, copywriting, and developers to ensure project deliverables and deadlines meet and/or exceed client expectations.
— Oversee and provide multiple design solutions in response to assigned client briefs.
— Present work to the creative and project teams – making sure to bring a strong design point of view into the conversation.
— Ensure project deliverables adhere to brand standards.
— Come up with fresh and innovative ideas and concepts.
— A minimum of 8+ years of experience in branding design, ideally the majority of that as a lead within a creative agency.
— A solid foundation in layout, design, colors, typography and art direction.
— Proven ability to translate brand strategy into beautiful brand identities and collateral designs.
— Ability to come up with original solutions that fully align with the client’s needs.
— Demonstrated history of creating original ideas that pushes our work further.
— Working knowledge in print production.
— Ability to present concepts to internal teams and clients.
— Experience in real estate, hospitality and lifestyle brands.

The compensation range for this position is between $90,000 – $160,000. The salary will commensurate with the candidate’s overall work experience.
